Sedona, Arizona is an exquisite experience at Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village; you will find and enjoy one of Sedona’s finest restaurants: Rene’s! Stroll right up to Rene’s classy picture framed menus displayed at the entrance of their lovely outdoor courtyard dining area and select your favorite food choices from their award winning selections.
The Village Frame Shop and Gallery of Sedona specializes in restoration framing techniques and recently restored the old world stylized framed outdoor display menus at Rene’s.
Outdoor settings render wear and tear on wood frames and moisture wicking damage to frame, glass and matting from exposure to the elements.
My name is Holly Hughes. I design and apply my artful skills to carefully treat damaged frames with a natural neutralizing cleanser to kill mold and mildew. Then I sand the frame and apply paint touch ups that blend in with the old finishes. Once the frame is dry, I seal it with a protective finish to resist moisture and UV damage.
Rene’s will seasonally update their menus and thus require change outs by a skilled designer. Holly’s next upgrade for them will include replacing the original glass to Optimum museum acrylic made by Tru-Vu.
- Benefits: lightweight, shatter resistant, superior clarity, no-glare and protection from UV damage.
- Results: no scratches, no dust, no lint, no static, and no special cleaners.
